2017 01 30 Interior framing, Electrician ..
First shot below, beginning to frame the low wall along the studio mezzanine. This will run above the ladder as well. If you look closely in all of these photos you will see signs that the electricians are starting to pull wire. So far most of their work has been below the floor.
Below, two shots looking at the chase at the west end of the gallery area. This will be full of electrical and HVAC.

2017 01 24 House in Snow ..
These were all taken just to show the house in the snow.
The jackrabbit tracks are all over the place, the coyotes tend to make trails and stay in them.

Below, looking west through the "gallery" space. You can see the half wall on the west end being built. The framing has the red edges. This wall / chase will hold a lot of electrical and HVAC.

Below, a shot of the central living space in the house. The weather for most of January has been very wet and windy. Parts of the Sierra Nevada just west of here received 25 feet of snow through the month.

Below, two shots of the "gallery" area on the north side of the house, adjacent to the guest/office and guest room. There are two walls that will project into this space, on the east and west. Those walls will actually be "chase" spaces that will hold electric and HVAC. They will also function to make this into more of a separate room. First photo looks more or less west.
