Work on the subfloor has started with installation of floor joists.
The process of making the steel columns and plumb and square has started. This is a painstaking process and was fascinating to watch. It is possible to move the columns fractions of an inch by adjusting the anchor bolts. Cables and turnbuckles, very long levels, and surveyors transits are used to make adjustments.
