2016 05 25 Concrete Test, Gabion Wall Progress

Testing of the concrete in the stem walls (passed) and more progress on the gabion walls.  In a couple of these photos you can see the local weather.  

Watching the weather here will be great.  In the winter it will mostly move in from the west and southwest, in the summer thundershowers and thunderstorms can form anywhere.  In any case it's always "visible" - you can see it as a distance and watch it form and move and change.

Quite a bit of progress on the gabion walls around the house.  There will also be two free standing walls on the north side of the house, one behind the solar array and the other near one of the rock outcrops.  All of the rock in the walls has been sorted out of the rock excavated on site.
